In recent years there have been significant breakthroughs in DNA editing. These advancements make modifying or merging living organisms to our design specifications less expensive and more precise.

Led by Executive Creative Director Vasil Hnatiuk, we wrote and animated a visual essay to spread synthetic biology ideas into the design community, visualizing the future design and engineering possibilities that this technology can bring us. We combined organic and mechanical forms into vehicles and devices—using our creativity and animation skills to awaken the imaginations of those watching.
