As part of a cross-promotional marketing campaign featuring Halo 4 and Mountain Dew, agency Smoke & Mirrors approached Dreamspace to do the post-production and design assets for the commercial to introduce consumers to the event.
In the form of an instructional video, a soldier identifying as your online avatar explains how the promotion works while going through an increasingly ridiculous training regime. Utilizing the idea that the Halo universe is a real, interactive world, we end the piece with the soldier conversing with a real-life human–bringing a short, fun commercial to a satisfying close.
