The project
Why we created Digital Podium Festival Austin
Digital Podium Festival was created to prove that motorsports, SIM culture, craftsmanship, and automotive passion could come together in a format that felt more like a cultural movement than a traditional trade show.
Dreamspace conceived it, owns it, and produced it. It is original event IP, built under our own title in Austin during MotoGP weekend. The mission was clear: build a fully immersive, festival-style platform for the United States that breaks away from the limits of the conventional expo model.
Austin was the right place. MotoGP weekend puts motorsport fans from everywhere in town, and we wanted to give them somewhere to go when race day ended. Digital Podium Festival became that place.

01 The partnership
Built together with Revival Cycles and the Handbuilt Show
We produced Digital Podium Festival together with Revival Cycles and the Handbuilt Show, inside the Austin American-Statesman building on South Congress. Custom-built motorcycles from the Handbuilt Show and the festival’s own programming shared the building, so a visitor could move from a one-off build to a race car to a SIM rig in a few steps.
The result felt less like a convention and more like the kind of gathering that automotive and racing culture had been missing.
A walk through the floor.
02 The vehicles
Vehicles curated by DSC Racing
DSC Racing, our sister company, curated the vehicles. Rare race cars and collector machines sat alongside the motorcycles, chosen by a team that lives in motorsport.
DSC Racing is a driver development group and motorsports storytelling lab based at Circuit of the Americas, run by Dreamspace partner C. Sean Yuksel, an MSF Level 2 instructor with a few thousand laps at COTA. That background shaped the floor: real track knowledge, turned into a room people could walk through.

03 SIM racing
4,500 SIM racing sessions
SIM racing was the engine of participation. More than 4,500 SIM racing sessions took place across the three days, which turned the festival from a passive showcase into a living, breathing motorsports community.
Visitors of every age sat down, took the wheel, and raced, often with a crowd around the rig.

04 The atmosphere
Culture first
What set the festival apart was its atmosphere. Custom-built motorcycles, rare race cars, whiskey tastings, live music, live art, and enthusiast-driven conversations created an environment rooted in authenticity.

Live art, builders, and a floor full of enthusiasts.
The result
Proof that a new live platform works
Over 20,000 people moved through the festival in just three days, and the response was immediate.
For Dreamspace, Digital Podium Festival became proof that building a new kind of live platform in North America is not only possible, but necessary. It showed our ability to create, produce, and grow original event IP that brings together audience energy, cultural relevance, brand partnerships, and long-term expansion potential.
The momentum continues as we advance the platform through future events and collaborations. See how we approach events and expos, read the festival page on DSC Racing, or explore another event we own, the Austin Robotics Expo.
