United Airlines

United Airlines operates a large domestic and international route network spanning cities large and small across the United States and all six continents.

United Airlines 2020 Livery Rebrand

For over 90 years United has been at the forefront of the airline industry. Pioneers in technological and customer innovations. In 1926 they helped launch commercial aviation with the first Airmail flight, were the first to offer a transcontinental passenger service and one of the founding members of the Star Alliance. In 2019 as part of a company-wide rebranding initiative Grafx was tasked by agency McGarryBowen with making a short 3D animation highlighting United’s transition to the new livery. Featuring the Boeing 737-800, wrapped in the new graphics, assuredly flying into United’s bright future.

United Airlines – Past to Present

From the humble Ford Trimotor 5-AT-D which completed the first Airmail delivery to the Boeing 737-800 wrapped in the new livery. In a single flyby shot the timeline of historical planes, and historical livery, is on display. Rising from the depths to replace the old, a 737, displaying the newly unveiled United redesign, takes over the screen, and after proudly showcasing its new colors, flies off into the unknown.
